Our Goal

Our main goal is to return the earth to a Garden of Eden state through science and hard work. If that idea sounds heady, try thinking about a future without it. Subsidiary to this main goal, our other goals are as follows: research methods to prevent runaway climate catastrophe, educate the public about the dangers of air pollution and global climate change, increase awareness of air pollution and global climate change, sponsor scientific studies and research into identifying and developing effective strategies for structurally reducing carbon emissions relevant to global climate change, and other studies and research appurtenant to these goals. Long-term, mindful stewardship of the earth in accordance with good Science and the main tenets and philosophies of the planet's major religions is essential if the human spirit is ever to realize its enormous potential.

Similar to the Schumacher Society, we have articulated a philosophy for the solutions we seek to research and  implement. Solutions must be:

Utilitarian- The philosophy of the greatest good for the greatest number must guide our work
Practical- We do not advocate solutions which cannot be built or appear whimsical
Honest - The proposed solution must actually be capable of working
Self-reinforcing-This is a very important aspect of any solution. The proposed solution and its real-world       effects must feedback on themselves and make the solution stronger, not weaker
Permanent- The solutions must be capable of being built or implement and left in place permanently
Sustainable-The solutions must be something we and future generations of humans on earth can be content to live with and which will be powered by sources of energy which will regenerate themselves as needed
